Spring clean your GUT!
"Your diet is not only what you eat.  It's what you watch, listen to, read, the people you hang around....be mindful of the things you put into your body emotionally, spiritually, physically."  ~Buddha

Webster's dictionary definition for Diet is:
  1. food and drink regularly provided or consumed

  2. habitual nourishment - something provided or experienced repeatedly
In Ayurveda (the sister science of yoga and "off the mat" practice) diet means what we do daily which is closer to definition #2 from Webster.  We all eat daily so that makes sense but a “good” diet—is about nourishment on every level. It involves relationships with family, friends, generational pasts, nature (the environment), our bodies, our community, and the world.

While my monthly challenges are meant to cover our daily emotions, mental health, physical body and spiritual connections, this April I'm gonna focus on gut health and invite you to check out this month's FREE class A Healthy Gut for Healthy Skin so you can learn more & take action to correct what's going on inside of you that perhaps is showing up on the outside of you as itchy, irritable, acne, dull or aging skin.

A great way to mindfully practice what we do daily is through a Yoga routine "on the mat"  to prep us for how to handle life "off the mat".  When you join me for Yoga this month, you'll have free access to my 21-day elimination "off the mat" challenge to take actionable steps towards "spring cleaning" your gut.  Join April classes here:April yoga
